Keeping renewable energy infrastructure cool

RS is offering a portfolio of ebm-papst fans engineered to maximize efficiency, reduce power consumption and minimize noise, including two new series optimized to help customers solve cooling challenges in the renewable energy industry.

EV charging stations and battery energy storage systems generate heat and rely on thermal management technologies, with a typical DC fast charger containing up to 25 small- to medium-sized axial fans in addition to higher pressure fans. To satisfy thermal management demands in such equipment, ebm-papst launched the high-performance AxiForce and W3G300–ME46 series fans.

AxiForce series fans have an innovative, aerodynamic housing and fan blade designed to make them quieter and more energy efficient than their predecessors and competitors. The new W3G300–ME46 series fans are larger than AxiForce fans at 300mm diameter and are specifically designed to meet the needs of outdoor renewable energy applications.
