Axiometrix Solutions has introduced a new high-isolation CAN-bus-based measurement module that is designed for temperature monitoring in high-voltage (HV) environments, particularly in e-mobility applications. The CANSASflex HISO-T-8-2L from the imc Test & Measurement brand delivers safety isolation of up to 1, 400 V for thermocouple monitoring and easy integration into 19-inch test stand systems.
“As battery systems in electric vehicles advance beyond 800 V to achieve shorter charging times, test and measurement engineers in automotive R&D, battery system development, and test institutes require robust, future-proof solutions,” the company said. “By futureproofing isolation levels, the new HISO-T-8-2L is the ideal data acquisition (DAQ) solution in high-voltage environments.”

The new HISO-T-8-2L thermocouple measurement module replaces its predecessor in the CANSASflex series. It offers high safety isolation of up to 1,400 VDC with even 8-kV peak and 4.4-kV rms test voltages. Key features include eight thermocouple channels via industry-standard LEMO.2P Redel connectors, four Type K thermocouples per Redel connector, and a cable-free click-in design as part of the CANSASflex DAQ series.
The HISO-T-8-2L can capture critical temperature data in applications such as testing DC power links, HV batteries, or complete electric drive systems.
