Low ESR with small footprint

Rutronik is expanding its Epson portfolio with the FC1610BN, a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal. Compared to its predecessor, the energysaving component has a lower ESR with a package size of only 1.6 by 1.0 mm. Operating temperature range is -40 to 105 °C which suits a range of applications including: IoT devices; sleep clocks requiring small size and low power consumption; MCU and radio modules for sub-clocks; clocks for wearable devices; and battery-powered applications.

The components are housed in ceramic SMD packages and metal lid instead of glass lid and impress above all with their low ESR: 45 kΩ typ at 25 °C; 60 kΩ max at -40 to 85 °C; and 70 kΩ max at -40 to 105 °C.
