Humidity and temperature sensors fit in small spaces

Sensirion's SHT4x humidity and temperature sensors.

Sensirion AG has expanded its family of digital humidity and temperature sensors with the introduction of the SHT40-AD1P-R2 and SHT41-AD1P-R2 devices. These sensors feature high accuracy and reliability and come with a removable protective cover for additional protection during handling and deployment.

The SHT40-AD1P-R2 and SHT41-AD1P-R2 digital humidity and temperature sensors provide highly accurate measurements. The SHT40-AD1P-R2 offers ±1.8% RH (max. ±3.5%) and ±0.2°C, and the SHT41-AD1P-R2 delivers ±1.8% RH (max. ±2.5%) and ±0.2°C accuracy. They are packaged in a compact DFN housing that measures 1.5 × 1.5 × 0.5 mm, making them suitable for space-constrained applications. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.

In addition, these sensors can be easily integrated into a wide range of devices and systems thanks to their standard I2C interface and fixed 0×45 I2C address, Sensirion said. Applications include industrial systems, HVAC equipment, or consumer products.

The SHT40-AD1P-R2 and SHT41-AD1P-R2 sensors are now available through Sensirion’s global distribution network.
