At Rutronik: SCHURTER’s DG11 power entry modules – now with magnetic release for short-circuit protection

The proven DG11 combination element impresses with clever enhancements for the most demanding applications in industry and medical technology.

The DG11 series power entry modules from SCHURTER in the Rutronik portfolio are receiving some excellently thought-out upgrades. The combination elements now feature a magnetic release, which makes additional fuses obsolete and ensures highly reliable protection against short circuits. The pre-wired combination elements tolerate an operating temperature of -25 °C to +60 °C and come in thermoplastic housings (UL94V-0 standardized). They are particularly suitable for devices of protection classes I and II according to IEC61140 – ideal for use in applications with the highest reliability and safety standards in industry and medical technology. The DG11 device connectors are available in various mounting variants at www.rutronik24.com.

The proven SCHURTER DG11 is now available with a magnetic release in the integrated TA35 circuit breaker. This provides reliable protection against very high overcurrents (short circuits), eliminating the need for additional fuses. The recessed rocker switch prevents accidental shutdown.

Completely optimized, the appliance plugs feature upgrades such as special sealing elements (gaskets) on the plug and mains connection cable, achieving a very high IP67 protection rating. The plugs are also equipped with V-Lock pull-out protection as standard to prevent accidental interruption of the power supply.
