New backshells now available | Latest Articles, UK News

Weald Electronics has announced availability of two new series of connector backshells for rugged applications. Both series are manufactured to AS85049/M85049.

LMA 69H1 backshells provide secure strain relief to cables via an adjustable cable clamp. They are compatible with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III (Souriau 8D Series) connectors with rear accessory threads and can be specified with the same plating finishes. LMA 69H1 Series backshells metalwork is machined from solid material rather than cast, providing optimum levels of strength and in-service reliability.

LMA 79 Series backshells enable secure mounting of heat shrink boots over the connector to cable transition. They are compatible with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III (Souriau 8D Series) and IV or MIL-DTL-26482 Series I (Weald LMH Series) connectors and can be supplied with a variety of finishes and variants to match the connector they are being used on.
