The conTROL RFI/EMI shielding eliminates the need for expensive conductive gaskets, according to the company. “Instead, continuous contact is created by a patented tooth system pre-cast into the lid and base.”
In addition, the lid features a deep recess to protect buttons, switches, and other operating elements. Threaded screw bosses for installing PCBs, mounting plates, and terminal rails are included inside the enclosure. They are IP 66-rated with optional IP 67.
The conTROL enclosure family is available in four standard sizes from 3.34 × 5.11 × 2.17 inches to 3.35 × 7.09 × 3.07 inches, making it easy to replace existing enclosures. The standard color is pebble gray (RAL 7032) with custom colors that are available on request. A variety of options and accessories are available including an installation kit, hinges, lid supports, external mounting brackets, mounting plates, supporting rails, and a corrosion-proof coating in azure blue (RAL 5009).
The conTROL enclosures are fully customizable. Services include CNC machining, engraving, powder coating, painting, printing, display windows, and assembly.
